The Lower World: An Exceptional Exhibition at the Aquatunnel

The Aquatunnel opens its doors to the public during LUGA 2025.

A unique experience awaits visitors: internationally acclaimed sound artist Suzan Philipsz transforms this historic tunnel into an immersive installation titled The Lower World, blending sound, emotion, and underground heritage. She harnesses the tunnel’s natural acoustics to create a sensory and introspective work, unprecedented in Luxembourg.

This exhibition is a collaboration between LUGA and MUDAM – Musée d’Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean – offering a new way to experience contemporary art in the urban space.
