What is digital accessibility?

Improvement process
Aware of the non-conformities identified during the audit, the Luxembourg City Tourist Office is committed to implementing a corrective and progressive action plan to significantly improve the website’s accessibility. The aim is to achieve compliance with the European standard EN 301 549 and the Web Accessibility Evaluation Framework (RAWeb) v1.1 as soon as possible.
Over the next six months, we will structure and prioritise the corrections based on the criteria most critical for people with disabilities, whilst incorporating accessibility rules and best practices from the design stage of future developments. Accessibility checklists will be implemented to standardise checks whenever content is added or modified. Furthermore, we plan to enhance the skills of our internal teams through dedicated training, as well as to seek support from digital accessibility experts.
As the website is currently undergoing continuous development with our web agency, these commitments will be incorporated from the design phase onwards and monitored throughout digital projects to ensure continuous and sustainable improvement in the digital accessibility of our website "https://www.luxembourg-city.com/".
