At the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO), we are exploring how artificial intelligence (AI) can make it easier for visitors to discover and plan their time in Luxembourg City. We use AI tools responsibly and transparently, always in support of — never as a replacement for —  the expertise and accuracy of human knowledge ensuring the quality and authenticity of our destination content.

Visitors trust the information on this website to plan a real trip to a real place. As we introduce AI-assisted features and content, we want to be  transparent about how we use AI-tools to create a trustworthy and a more accessible environment. 

This statement is also an ethical commitment: we do not use AI for critical information such as legal policies or historic facts.

We do not publish AI-generated text as unverified fact. Where AI tools assist in drafting, translating or organising content  , we commit that a human at LCTO reviews the underlying information for accuracy before it is made available. AI may help us present information more clearly, creatively or accessible, but it does not replace human knowledge, authorship and authenticity. 

AI-generated images

We do not use AI-generated images to depict real landmarks, monuments, or places in Luxembourg City. Our commitment is to represent the city as it truly is, without embellishment. Where an AI-generated or AI-assisted image does appear on this site, it is clearly indicated and it is used purely for illustrative purposes — for example, a decorative or conceptual visual — and never in a way intended to mislead visitors about what they will see or experience in the city. We commit that our location images have not been substantially generated or altered using generative artificial intelligence tools if not stated otherwise. We cannot guarantee this for third-party content. 

Our "Plan Your Trip" tool

This website features an AI-powered "Plan Your Trip" tool. Visitors can answer a few short questions about their interests and the tool generates a personalised visit plan, drawing exclusively on verified sources about Luxembourg City's sights, tours, and practical details. It is designed as a helpful starting point for planning your visit, drawing information solely on verified content featured on the website.

Wherever a feature on this site is AI-powered, we aim to identify it clearly, as we do with the "Plan Your Trip" tool.
