Travel Diary

Grand Ducal Palace
We came for the palace… stayed for the guards. Very serious men. Very nice uniforms. Dot may have waved.

Bock Casemates
We went in for five minutes. We stayed an hour. Ancient tunnels + views = totally worth the slightly sore knees.

Grund
We got lost here. Twice. And honestly, we didn’t mind. Bridges, cafés, charm… even the GPS gave up.

Coque
We expected... well... not a spaceship-sized arena. Turns out Luxembourg knows how to impress... quietly.

Place de la Constitution
We found a golden lady with the best view in town. Maggie claimed she saw France. She didn’t.

Chemin de la Corniche
They call it Europe’s most beautiful balcony. We agree — and took at least 147 photos to prove it.

Melusina statue
We met a mermaid by the river. Not kidding. Bit moody, but looked good on selfies.

"Niki de Saint Phalle" sculpture
We turned a corner and boom — colour, curves, chaos. Dot called it “a sculpture with sass.” Accurate.

Bouneschlupp
Traditional green bean soup. We asked for more bacon than beans. Delicious!

We went out for “just one drink.” Several cocktails, bar hopping, and many questionable dance moves followed.
