Inspired by Jeremy Bentham’s Panopticon and Michel Foucault’s theory of internalized surveillance, PANOPTICON explores the psychological tension between control and freedom. Red hands appear as symbols of constant monitoring, manipulating a body that represents the human spirit resisting a mechanized, conformist existence. Oscillating between order and chaos, the character navigates the conflict between ego, superego, and subconscious, questioning identity, visibility, and the pressure to perform. The work reflects on the paradox of seeking recognition while feeling unseen, revealing a soul struggling within a system that demands predictability.

Cette création chorégraphique afro-contemporaine explore les liens qui tissent notre existence: familiaux, sociaux, politiques, religieux, spirituels ou intimes. Portée par un solo puissant, elle met en avant la dualité entre attachement et libération à travers le titre Connexion ou Déconnexion.

Ancrée et aérienne, la chorégraphie traduit les tensions, ruptures et reconnexions qui traversent chaque parcours humain. En confrontant les attaches nourricières aux liens toxiques, la pièce ne raconte pas une histoire linéaire: elle invite le spectateur à un voyage introspectif et cathartique, où il est amené à questionner ses propres relations et les forces qui l’entravent ou le libèrent.
