A night for Palestine with Labess
Organised by Lëtz Act For Palestine, a collective committed to justice and the dignity of the Palestinian people, guided by human rights and international law, the concert A night for Palestine with Labess is held in partnership with the NGO HuSoMe Luxembourg, active across several war‑affected regions.
Palestine is a place where culture has always been a refuge, a breath, a way of preserving dignity and memory. In Gaza, as elsewhere, music, storytelling, games, colours, and everyday gestures once formed a vibrant fabric: that of homes, schools, alleyways, celebrations, and voices echoing one another.
Today, many of these cultural spaces have disappeared or fallen silent. Yet childhood continues to exist, with its need for stories, rhythms, places to learn, to play, to imagine.
More than 61,000 children have lost one parent or both, according to recent humanitarian reports. Behind this number lies a cultural reality: children deprived of their landmarks, their stories, their spaces of creation.
This concert follows a simple intention: to let Palestinian culture resonate in Luxembourg, so that art becomes a bridge, a passage, a way of preserving what remains alive.
By taking part, you help support initiatives that restore children’s access to artistic, educational, and cultural activities, to places where they can tell stories, draw, sing, and relearn how to dream. This gesture finds its full meaning at Rotondes, a cultural space welcoming a culture in search of breath.
