Theaterfest

Friday 18th September, the THEATER FEDERETIOUN and its members – theatres, cultural centres and independent companies – will gather at the Place d’Armes for this year's “Theaterfest”, the official opening of the the new theatre and dance season in Luxembourg !

This season launch at the heart of Luxembourg City has become, since its first edition in 2008, an unmissable event that celebrates the richness and diversity of Luxembourg’s theatre and dance scene, by bringing together artists, spectators, enthusiasts as well as passers-by, in a festive and friendly atmosphere, punctuated by excerpts of theatre pieces, street performances and concerts.

Building on the success of the previous year, the event will once again focus on direct interaction with visitors. The presence of artists, theatre directors, and other members of this large theatrical “family”, will also offer a rare opportunity, for those who wish, to engage in conversation with these professionals and thus get a glimpse behind the scenes of the industry, the various artistic offerings available in the country as well as the different professions and career opportunities…
