The new collaboration between pianist Michel Reis and saxophonist Matthieu Bordenave is a special musical encounter in which two musicians share and explore their common vision of music and their own experiences to create a personal sound.
In this intimate duo, communication is of paramount importance.
Listening to each other and playing with space are essential for their compositions and improvisations to come to life.
While several pieces have been written especially for this project, the musicians also enjoy revisiting some of their earlier compositions and interpreting them in a new way.
The music of Matthieu Bordenave and Michel Reis is sensitive, open, intimate and, above all, seeks to tell a story and offer its listeners a warm feeling of optimism
