We learn from 2050, with Alain Hubert and Eric Rignot present at the Q&A session as our guides, in the footsteps of Adrien de Gerlache de Gomery's first expedition in 1897 aboard the Belgica, that regardless of our age, education and activities, solutions related to mobility, energy, medicine, construction materials and sustainable water management implemented in the extreme conditions of the White Continent can contribute to the rest of the world's adaptation to the climate change effects and to fight against global warming. The new Andromeda Earth Observatory project, a research hub and international university, will put this research into practice, using the latest generation of technology that is vital for the survival of humanity.
