Description

Looking at landscape, garden and city through the lens of poetry: During six different walks through the parks of Luxembourg City, four poets will read from their works. In an interplay between botany, urbanism, semantics and sound, the poetic walks are an opportunity to discover LUGA from a poetic perspective and at the same time to get to know writers from Luxembourg. The readers are: Ulrike Bail, Serge Basso de March, Fabienne Faust, Tullio Forgiarini, Guy Helminger, Nico Helminger, Tom Hengen, Chris Lauer, James Leader, Robbie Martzen, Paul Mathieu, Tom Nisse, Jean Portante, Nathalie Ronvaux, Dana Rufolo, Lambert Schlechter, Elise Schmit, Luc Spada, Claire Thill, Florent Toniello, Nora Wagener and Robert Weis. Every walk is unique! Each walk lasts about 90 minutes. Jean Portante, Tullio Forgiarini and Lambert Schlechter will be reading poems in French during this poetic walk in the Stadtpark on 17 May. The fourth poet, Tom Hengen, will read poems in English. The route is barrier-free and takes about 90 minutes. Readings take place in every kind of weather.  .From ECHO.lu
