First Mote
The Luxembourgish duo First Mote bring their cinematic experimental folk to the entrance hall of Casino Luxembourg to celebrate the release of their first album “Snapdragons At The Market”. They will be supported by belgian dj and producer Sensu, who will do a DJ set with some live elements built in.

First Mote
Jamie Reinert and Christophe Demart are childhood friends who started making music together in a basement as teenagers. After years of playing together in different bands, they decided to start their own project, First Mote. While their first self-released EP Middlecroft (2022) focused on baritone electric guitar and drums, their new record Snapdragons at the Market expands their palette to include banjo, pedal steel, acoustic guitar, and synths. Home-recorded, it moves between groove-driven rhythms and minimalist, atmospheric textures.

Sensu (Youth, Meandyou, Meakusma )
Belgian DJ and producer Sensu is based in Luxembourg and has been DJing for over 25 years, bringing an eclectic, experimental touch to everything. As a producer, his work has been published by labels such as Youth, Meandyou, and Meakusma. A Sensu DJ set is a descent into experimental and eclectic moods and modes, combining a variety of genres into an at times extremely minimalist, at times very melismatic amalgam, bordering on industrial, avant-garde, electronica, ambient., and more. When playing live, he walks a similar path, focused on experimental club sounds and beyond.
