Immersive Pavilion 2026
Presented for the first time across three emblematic venues in Luxembourg City – neimënster, Mudam and Villa Louvigny – the Immersive Pavilion 2026 showcases cutting-edge works in virtual, augmented and mixed reality, alongside sonic installations competing for the “Best Immersive Experience” at Luxembourg City Film Festival.
.This 9th edition invites visitors into poetic, introspective and playful worlds where imagination meets technology. Documentary, fiction, animation and interactive
storytelling explore experiences of loss, trauma and healing, as well as narratives rooted in ancestral histories, sound archives and collective memory. Other works confront social and environmental crises such as injustice, ecological collapse, forced migration and gentrification with urgency and creative force, advocating for community, multiculturalism and environmental awareness.
This edition also honours Craig Quintero – a longstanding Pavilion artist and winner of the Luxembourg City Film Festival’s 2023 Award for Best Immersive Experience – with Just for You, a trilogy of his acclaimed VR works.
.The Immersive Pavilion is curated by Film Fund Luxembourg and PHI Montreal in partnership with Luxembourg City Film Festival, neimënster and Mudam.
