I Am The Wind
Two men on a sailboat. One longs for his own disappearance, which he simultaneously fears; the other tries to keep him in the present. Mist hangs over the water; the skerries shimmer grey on the shore. In the end, one of them will plunge into the waves. He drifts away, heavy as a stone, light as the wind.
.The Norwegian Nobel Prize-winning author Jon Fosse once again disposes of a grand plot to create space for atmosphere, silence and a sense of isolation. I Am the Wind is a poetic dialogue about letting go, about feelings of guilt and the deep inner urge to escape life in order to become one with the elements – the wind and the sea.
