F for Fake Light or 20th Century Light – Répétition générale
Entitled F for Fake or 20th Century Light - Répétition générale in a cross-over homage to Orson Welles and the incandescent bulb, Nicholas Vargelis's lecture performance revisits the history of this technology, now virtually extinct in Europe. In a luminous mise-en-scène created using two partition units, fix and mobile, equipped with electrical infrastructure, presented as part of the exhibition Boogie,., the artist revisits the singular aesthetics of this technology in a way that is both historical and technical, as well as personal.
