Lichtdruck
We make photos without a camera.
Armed with paint, fabric, and small sponges, all we need is a friend and the sun to help us create original light prints.
We create photos using light printing – photos without a camera. We paint our cotton fabric with a special paint. We can choose the colour ourselves.
Then we gather materials from nature and place them on our fabric or paper.
Next, we put everything in the sun or on the windowsill, and the sunlight “exposes” our fabric or paper. After that, we wash and dry our fabric or paper and enjoy our light print.Light printing is like a photocopy – just without a copier; like a photogram – just without chemicals and a photo lab. Natural colours are used for light printing, and they are simply washed out with water. Completely natural, completely simple.
