Martin Seiler, a jazz saxophonist and bandleader, blends modern and contemporary jazz in his quintet, creating unique sonic experiences. He collaborates regularly with Luxembourgish jazz drummer Robert Ivanov, whom he met at Munich Jazz College in the early 2000s and cherishes for his fresh and very energetic drumming. Their quintet’s repertoire consists mainly of original compositions, balancing structured arrangements with improvisation to ensure dynamic and engaging performances. Seiler prioritizes strong band synergy, selecting musicians with deep artistic and personal connections, fostering an immersive live atmosphere.
