HAEZZ

Tobias Vedovelli, Štěpán Flagar, and Martin Eberle are among the leading voices of the Austrian jazz scene. The bands and projects they have been involved in include renowned names such as 5K HD, Purple Is the Color, and the Leonhard Skorupa Ensemble, to name just a few. Known for moving effortlessly across a wide range of musical territories, they bring a broad repertoire and a strong sense of identity to everything they play. With HAEZZ, the trio leans toward an accessible kind of jazz, where the focus shifts from sheer instrumental display to the creation of atmosphere. Moments of open interplay, rhythmically intricate passages, and fast, laid-back grooves are certainly part of the language, but they never take over. Instead, they are woven into imaginatively crafted pieces with a chamber-like sensibility, opening generous spaces of sound and unfolding with a distinctly welcoming warmth.
