El José And The Bluebirds
El José has been sharing his passion for the blues for over fifteen years. Following three albums with the Hibbie Blues in Saint-Étienne and extensive touring across southern France, he relocated to eastern France in 2020 and established the Bluebirds. During this time, he had the opportunity to tour and record a live album alongside Japanese bluesman Shun Kikuta, renowned guitarist for the likes of Koko Taylor, Jr. Wells, and Buddy Guy, both in France and in Japan. El José has also had the privilege of performing with some of the finest blues artists from Europe and America, including Toronzo Cannon, Lil' Ed, Terry Harmonica Bean, Kris Dollimore, Mister Tchang, Bart Ryan, and Carl Wyatt. Currently, El José and the Bluebirds are in the process of recording their debut album, aiming to capture the authentic sound reminiscent of Chicago by blending blues with funk, soul, and a hint of rock 'n' roll.
