Description
BluesRain is a blues band from the Lorraine region, formed in 2017 by two experienced amateur musician-singers, Eric Botzung and François Issler. With decades of experience playing blues music, they bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to the table. Based in Moselle, the band travels extensively throughout the Greater Region, performing in Lorraine, Luxembourg, Wallonia, and Saarland. The core of the band consists of Eric on vocals and guitar, François on vocals and bass, and Eric on drums. Together, they pay tribute to the classic blues styles of Texas, Chicago, boogie, and rock’n’roll, drawing inspiration from legendary artists such as Albert King, Freddie King, Willie Dixon, John Lee Hooker, Otis Rush, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Jeff Healey, Jimmy Reed, Little Milton, Sonny Boy Williamson, Elmore James, and John Mayall.
