Description

A screening of the documentary Letters From Wolf Street by director Arjun Talwar, who will personally introduce the film and take part in a Q&A session with the audience.

The evening will continue with a debate on immigration, with several other participants, and an informal get-together with Polish snacks and drinks offered.

Letters from Wolf Street. (2025), by Arjun Talwar, is a poetic documentary set on one street in central Warsaw. Through portraits of neighbours—a postman, a Syrian couple, a brass band, and Mo, a fellow immigrant—Talwar reflects on alienation, belonging, and everyday contradictions of Polish society. Blending humour, melancholy, voice-over, and jazz, the film turns a single street into a microcosm of wider social tensions.
