Open to all audiences, this program traces another path through the cosmos – playful, inventive, and already deeply fascinated by the idea of elsewhere.

Widely regarded as the first major science fiction film in the history of cinema, Méliès’ masterpiece follows a group of astronomers who travel to the Moon in a cannon-launched capsule and encounter strange lunar beings. A foundational vision of cinematic space travel.

An animated musical fantasy where the Moon becomes a surreal playground of rhythm, movement, and cosmic imagination.

A Grand Day Out UK 1989 | Nick Park | 24' | voEN 

Wallace and Gromit build a homemade rocket and travel to the Moon in search of cheese, discovering an unexpectedly mechanical lunar world.
