Description

The LUCA and the LUGA Art Trail invite you on an afternoon tour with Studio Ossidiana to discover its work – from their participation in the exhibition “Living Thresholds” to the “Pigeon Tower” installation in the city – and explore the relationship between humans, flora, and fauna.

— Part 1 : The exhibition at LUCA

.

The exhibition “Living Thresholds : Towards Cohabitation in Architectural Design” explores the relationship between human and non-human living beings in Luxembourg City and other European countries through architecture, urban planning, and art.

After a short introduction by LUCA, Studio Ossidiana will present its contribution to the exhibition : “Garden of Models”, a collection of small-scale architectural projects that explore the garden as a shared space of encounter between humans and non-humans.

— Part 2 : The installation on the LUGA Art Trail

From the concept to the real-life experience ! Heading to the Municipal Park, Studio Ossidiana will accompany us to the discovery of the “Pigeon Tower”, a site of encounter between humans and pigeons that poetically elevates this often-overlooked species in urban environments.

This project is part of the “LUGA Art Trail : Animals of the Mind”, a series of site-specific sculptures, installations, video works, performances, and interventions revolving around the animal figure to actively engage visitors in the debates on our evolving relationships with the living.
