Tony Lakatos Organ-ization

Tony Lakatos is constantly exploring new ways to express himself through his instrument, the tenor saxophone, and his compositions. He recently asked Jean-Yves Jung and Jean-Marc Robin, two musicians from neighbouring French-speaking regions, to collaborate with him. As the audience will hear, the two artists enthusiastically accepted, seduced by the challenge of interpreting, among other things, pieces from the Great American Songbook. The style of their repertoire is not rigidly defined, but one thing is certain: the great figures of jazz are never far away. 

The Tony Lakatos Organ-ization trio (a name that plays on the word ‘organ’, a nod to the organ played by Jean-Yves Jung) captivates with its infectious energy, virtuosity and cohesion.
