The Clockworks
On their second album The Entertainment, Galway-born, London-based quartet The Clockworks trade debut-era momentum for something darker and more deliberate. A “work of friction,” the record dissects modern isolation and our seductive dependence on technology, pairing cinematic ambition with raw tension. Self-produced and recorded in isolation, it fuses piano, synths and found sounds into a push-and-pull of sheen and grit: an urgent, human call to step away from the screen and back into real connection.
