"Palestine 36" tells the story of the Great Revolt of 1936, which saw Palestinians rise up against both the British Mandate and the Zionist colonial project. This first Palestinian uprising swept across all of Palestine and mobilized its entire population. This historical film by the renowned Palestinian filmmaker also reveals the extent to which the legacy of colonialism persists in Palestine.
