Oliver Herlitzka Quintet

Oliver Herlitzka is a guitarist influenced by jazz and rock, who has been active for many years in the northern German jazz scene. His quintet is characterised by energetic interplay and captivating live performances.

The latest album, “Between Edges,” showcases the ensemble’s versatility and skill impressively. The compositions take listeners on a journey, ranging from sensitive melodies to pulsating rhythms – all carried by the unmistakable sound of the group. “It was important for us to create an album that allows us musical freedom and simply brings joy,” says Oliver Herlitzka. “With ‘Between Edges,’ we aim to build a bridge between different musical worlds.” “Between Edges” was released by the label HEY!JAZZ Records and is now available on all major platforms, as well as on vinyl.
