Description
.This is music that simply won’t sit still. Sergei Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto N° 3. is bright, bold and bursting with energy – full of rhythmic twists and sparkling detail. While Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Symphony N° 4 heads somewhere darker: fate, struggle, and hard-won release. Together, they reveal two sides of the same coin – light and shadow, clarity and chaos. Alexandre Kantorow, a firm audience favourite known for his fearless playing, joins the Filarmonica della Scala for a programme that crackles with contrast.
