The conference “The Bonsais”, presented by the association Bonsai Frënn Minett Déifferdeng, highlights the origins of this ancient art, deeply rooted in Asian cultures. During the presentation, Jean-Pierre Reitz, president of Bonsai Frënn Minett Déifferdeng, illustrates the evolution of bonsai from ancient China to the present day and reviews the different modern bonsai styles. In parallel with the presentation, Robert Wilmes works on a nursery plant to demonstrate an initial shaping using various techniques.
