From Renoir to Monet. Impressionism from the Rau Collection
The Nationalmusée um Fëschmaart presents masterpieces from the Collection Rau for UNICEF, featuring works by Monet, Renoir, Cassatt and many more. The Rau Collection – assembled over four decades by philanthropist Dr. Gustav Rau, entrusted to UNICEF and currently housed at the Arp Museum – is one of Europe’s most significant private art collections. Complemented by gems from our own collection, the exhibition offers a rare opportunity to experience the very best of Impressionism in Luxembourg.Running concurrently, an exhibition of works by Old Masters from both the Collection Rau for UNICEF and the museum’s own holdings entitled Talking Pictures 1400–1800. will also be on view at the Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck in Remagen, Germany.Opening on 8 October 2026 at 6 pm.
