..Pierrick Grobéty unveils a unique instrument which he designed and built entirely
himself. This unusual instrument incorporates hydrophones—microphones capable
of picking up sounds underwater—which he submerges in several aquariums.
Connected to a real-time computer system, these devices enable him to transform
every aquatic vibration into sound. Throughout his performance, he sculpts an
immersive auditory universe that evokes the depths of the sea: a soundscape
filled with liquid echoes, distant rumblings and unexpected aquatic textures,
plunging the audience into a sensory experience that is both poetic and
experimental.
