Duck Race
The Duck Race is one of the most popular annual charity events in Luxembourg City, bringing together thousands of visitors in the picturesque Grund district.
Organized by Round Table Luxembourg, the event features thousands of numbered rubber ducks (collected and reused each year) racing down the Alzette River, creating a fun and lively spectacle for all ages.
Beyond the race itself, a family-friendly village at Abbaye de Neumünster offers entertainment for children, music, and a variety of food and drink stands. Participants can sponsor a duck for a chance to win prizes, while supporting a good cause. With its festive atmosphere, charitable mission, and scenic setting, the Duck Race has become a highlight of Luxembourg City’s event calendar, combining community spirit with a meaningful impact.
