During this tour, you will have the great honour of meeting
the fortress commander, Adam Sigmund von Thüngen.
Since nearly all his soldiers are deserting, he is desperately
.searching for new recruits. He will tell you what life in a
fortress town is really like – with its judges, merchants,
craftsmen, beer brewers, and masonry workers.
What does it take to become a good soldier?
How much does one earn? How does one become an officer …?
Dare to meet Commander Sigmund – but be careful not to
end up being recruited yourselves!
