Un demi-siècle après sa disparition, un hommage au compositeur russe, qui a su opposer une résistance discrète, élaborant souvent des partitions d‘une audace et d‘un irrespect politique qui le mirent plus d‘une fois en danger.
Composé au lendemain de la mort d’un ami cher, le second trio de Chostakovitch est aussi un hommage aux victimes de la guerre et du barbarisme nazi.
