► Heart of Sarajevo for Best Feature Film, Sarajevo 2025
A young man returns to his native village, nestled in the serene landscapes of rural Serbia, after the loss of his mother, a free-spirited woman who once lived in a trailer by the lake. An intimate and meditative docudrama that weaves memory and fiction into a powerful reflection on family bonds, grief and the quiet passage of healing time.
« Djordjević manages to make Wind, Talk to Me a captivating film, both about his mother and about himself coping with her passing » (Cineuropa)
« Wind, Talk To Me is an extraordinary portrait that manages to shy away from the big gestures of sentimentality and stay grounded in people’s resilience and silent grief, with moments where a few words or a brief touch are enough to communicate and share sadness with others. » (ICS)
