When a knight in a futuristic medieval world is framed for a crime he didn't commit, the only one who can help him prove his innocence is Nimona - a mischievous teen who happens to be a shapeshifting creature he's sworn to destroy.
Nimona is unapologetically queer in the best way, which is no surprise coming from the mind of trans creator ND Stevenson. It is a gay story. It’s a trans story. It is a queer lens through and through and such a needed movie. Nimona is a reminder of how we must keep fighting, and there is no peace until racist, homophobic institutions are torn down.
