Children and costumes at the Casino Forum
Carnival holiday workshop with Johanna De Santis, designer and seamstress (Atelier Spatz, Luxembourg)
.Inspired by images from exhibition catalogs, various characters, avatars, alter egos, and costumes invented by artists exhibited at Casino Luxembourg over the past 30 years, children will develop costumes, accessories, and gestures for their own imaginary characters.
.Children should bring an old T-shirt (child or adult size) that can be used as the basis for the costume and possibly a pair of leggings!
The workshop will end with a little dance party!
Johanna has created costumes for children's museums such as the Young V&A in London, as well as for children's theater companies, ballet dancers, and films.
