Synopsis : A powerful drama set in Port Talbot (Wales) about wild schoolboy Richie Jenkins who dreams of becoming an actor. His father is an alcoholic miner; however, his teacher Philip Burton recognises his raw talent and sees his potential, tutoring and transforming him into Richard Burton - Wales' greatest star who later said of Philip Burton 'I owe him everything'.
