Baptiste Herbin Quintet
Baptiste Herbin, an acclaimed international musician, was nominated at the Victoires du Jazz in 2013 for his debut album Brother Stoon and has received the Django Reinhardt Prize and the title of Musician of the Year 2019 by the Académie du Jazz. He has released four albums, including Brother Stoon (2010), Interférences (2014), Dreams and Connections (2017), and Vista Chinesa. (2020), a tribute to Brazil. Herbin performs globally, collaborating with renowned musicians like Stefano di Battista and Roy Hargrove, and accompanied Charles Aznavour in 2014. As a dedicated educator, he conducts masterclasses worldwide. His saxophone playing is noted for its beautiful sound, traditional roots, and technical mastery, as highlighted by Jean-Pierre Jackson in Classica.
