neimënster will play hosts to Gust Graas’s flagship exhibition Poesia, which was shown in Mallorca in early 2024 to a dazzling 11,000 visitors.

After a long career in Luxembourg: by day as director of RTL and by night as a passionate artist, Gust Graas has dedicated the next 3 decades of his life to painting on this enchanting island. His canvases exude the Mediterranean – lightness and light, journeys for the eyes.

The new impressions fill you with wonder, a symphony of vibrant colours! Even grey, under the blazing sun, sparkles like antique silver. And this resplendent Mediterranean blue, omnipresent here, is becoming a central colour in his works.

Gust Graas notes in his artist’s notebook: « I try to express this joie de vivre and the metamorphosis of nature with a wide open heart. Abstraction in my painting opens the doors to a magical universe full of poetry ».

Andreu Aguiló, director of the Musée de Pollença, marvels at this « artist’s eye, which gives his visual poetry a mysterious and bewitching aura ».
