At the age of only 19, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was in his prime when he composed his Violin Concerto N° 3.. As for Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, childhood memories of a trip to Scotland inspired his Third Symphony: «No one thinks they can overcome the first impressions of youth».
