Inspired by Eva l'Hoest's Zoetrope installation in her exhibition The Mindful Hand.., in this workshop the children discover another of the earliest analogue animation techniques: the Thaumatrope, with which they can bring their images to life. By rotating the Thaumatrope with strings, two drawings are transformed into one moving image, but try not to blink!
