Description
Workshop
with Tania Soubry, dance artist
Do you feel called to attune to the flow within your body and between your body and the land? To dance with the landscape, to the song of the Giele Botter?I invite you on a journey influenced by (eco-)somatic and deep listening practices, beginning with a 20-minute uphill walk to the Giele Botter. Along the way and at the plateau, we’ll awaken our bodies through grounding, releasing, and energizing movements. From this embodied state, we’ll engage with this beautifully regenerated land by attuning to sound, then moving in relation to it, ultimately arriving at a multi-sensory way of listening, being, and moving with the landscape. Beginning with gentle humming as a vibrational offering to ourselves and the land, we’ll explore the relational field between voice and place. From this attunement, a dance may arise. As sensations, feelings, and images emerge, we will take time to write from these experiences. Those who wish are warmly invited to share their reflections within the group. No specific skills or experience are necessary to participate. Please note that the path includes uneven terrain and potentially challenging surfaces, which may make access difficult for wheelchair users or individuals with limited mobility.Wear comfortable and weather-appropriate clothing. We will take a break midway through the workshop near a water source. Feel free to bring some drinking water and perhaps a snack.Join this experience and follow the lead of dance artist Tania Soubry. This workshop will be in English and Luxembourgish.
