The «Face-à-face» series gives you the chance to get a little closer to them through a concert… and a concept: one Sunday, one hour, one chapter in the life of a composer told in music! This time, Austrian pianist Claus-Christian Schuster will introduce you to one of his compatriots, Franz Schubert. This humble and sensitive soul flew through the 19th century like a shooting star, but despite his short life, he still had time to revolutionise music history. His speciality? Marrying notes and letters. In other words, composing sublime melodies from the most beautiful poems of his time…
