Green oases in urban areas play a crucial role in the well-being and quality of life of residents and visitors. This conference will explore how acoustic ecology and ecoacoustics can improve biodiversty monitoring, and enhance our understanding of urban nature. Acoustic ecology in urban gardens not only contributes to the understanding of nature, but also influences the well-being of city dwellers. Ecoacoustic studies show that access to a pleasant acoustic environment can reduce stress and improve quality of life. This applies not only to humans, but also to non-human earthlings.
