The LSRS is organizing a study day on the subject of ‘Religions between nature and culture’. Here nature is understood as the biosphere of which humans are a part, and in which they assume a place that has been called into question by recent approaches in the human sciences and philosophy. Moreover, linking nature, culture and religion allows us to revisit the origin stories, particularly the Genesis narrative, which some consider to be at the root of the exploitation and destruction of the environment...
