Part 1) Parent-Child Calligraphy by Iri (45min) A Japanese calligraphy master is hosting workshops offering an authentic cultural experience. While learning the writing technique using a brush, you will create a unique masterpiece by writing your favorite characters on a Japanese fan called ‘Uchiwa’.
Part 2) Reading session by author Mayuka Abe (45min) Discover the beauty of Japanese storytelling at our picture book reading session. You will enjoy illustrated stories while experiencing the charm of Japanese culture from classics to new. Additionally, two original picture books will be unveiled for this special event! Just bring your curiosity and step into a new world through a selection of bilingual picture books.
