Spirit of Shizen
Nature in Japan has long been awe-inspiring through the beautifully articulated four seasons, but also threatening due to recurrent natural phenomena such as volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, heavy rainfalls and tsunami. The traditional relationship between Japanese people, their culture and their natural environment is the object of the exhibition “Spirit of Shizen – Japan’s Nature through 72 micro-seasons” that will take place at Luxembourg’s National Museum of Natural History in from 1 July to 28 August 2022.
