Sofia Portanet aus Berlin wurde am 9. November 1989 geboren und betrat die Welt mit dem Fall der Berliner Mauer. Nun reist sie mit ihrer Neuinterpretation der Neuen Deutschen Welle selbst Mauern ein: sie singt in drei Sprachen (Englisch, Französisch und Deutsch) und spielt seit dem Signing mit dem britisch-deutschen Label Duchess Box Records (Gurr, Laura Carbone) internationale Konzerte in Europa und den USA.
