Neuvěřitelno - Pause - cinéconcert (CinEast festival)
When an incredible trio of musicians sheds musical light on a pioneer of Czechoslovak cinema and his 100 year old film.
The Czech trio Neuvěřitelno uses a wide array of instruments, machinery and voices to accompany silent films. With their musical output, ranging from and melting rock, blues and jazz, the project tries to capture the soul of any given film. The film is always the priority. With a résumé of cinéconcerts at Cinémathèque française or the Barbican Centre, CinEast gladly invites Neuveřitelno back to Luxembourg.
The band will present live soundtrack to the film The Arrival from the Darkness by Jan S. Kolár - the Czechoslovak D.W. Griffith, one could say -, a 101-year-old motion picture, with a storyline reminiscent of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, which got restored in 2013.
