LUCILIN IN THE CITY #10 - Miniature

For the last Lucilin in the City concert of 2023, Pascal Meyer, pianist of the ensemble United Instruments of Lucilin, is thinking small. Accompanied by Guy Frisch on percussion, they have come up with a 'Miniature' programme featuring toy piano, glockenspiel, triangle and other small instruments. The programme includes a selection of solo and duo pieces featuring these instruments, including Christopher Adler's The Toy Robot's Mechanical Heart and Alvin Lucier's emblematic triangle solo Silver Streetcar for the Orchestra, to be performed on 17 December at 5pm at Galerie Nosbaum Reding.

With Lucilin in the City, Lucilin offers a monthly programme curated by a member of the ensemble, thus highlighting the musical personalities that make up Lucilin and, more generally, the extent and great diversity of the contemporary music repertoire.
